Fort Portal, Uganda – September 1, 2025 – From September 10th to 13th, the majestic Karuzika Palace in Fort Portal will come alive with the vibrant Ekyooto Ha Mpango Festival, a grand celebration marking the 30th coronation anniversary of His Majesty, King Oyo of the Toro Kingdom.
This festival is not just a royal event; it is a heartfelt gathering inviting the king’s subjects to join him in celebrating culture, history, and community spirit.

The Ekyooto Ha Mpango Festival promises a spectacular showcase of the rich traditions and heritage of the Toro Kingdom. The King Oyo Model Farm in Kyenjojo features various agricultural enterprises, including dairy, mango cultivation, fish farming, and coffee production, showcasing a multifaceted approach to farming. He has been instrumental in providing resources like tractors and irrigation systems to support local farmers in improving their practices and productivity.
