Talent Africa Group Crowns 2025 as Its Busiest and Most Successful Event Year, Announces Expansion Plans for 2026
Talent Africa Group (TAG), East Africa’s leading 360-degree entertainment company, has officially declared 2025 as the busiest, most diverse, and commercially successful event year in its history—marking a landmark moment for Uganda’s events and entertainment industry.
From high-level diplomatic engagements to mass-market festivals and cultural showcases, TAG’s ability to execute multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously has further cemented its reputation as an industry leader. The company’s consistent delivery of world-class production, safety, and value for money has positioned it as a trusted partner for both audiences and corporate clients.

A Record-Breaking Year Defined by Excellence
TAG’s outstanding 2025 performance was driven by three key pillars that shaped the year and set new industry benchmarks.
Logistical Triumphs in Diplomacy and Industry
Talent Africa Group demonstrated its capacity to operate at the highest levels of national and regional importance through complex, security-sensitive engagements.
In September, TAG played a critical role in supporting events surrounding the official visit of His Highness the Aga Khan. These included the launch of new academic facilities at the Aga Khan University (AKU) campus and the groundbreaking ceremony for the future Aga Khan University Hospital in Kampala.
The company’s logistical strength was further tested in November during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Devki Steel and National Cement Mega Factory in Tororo—a $500 million industrial project attended by three regional Heads of State. Successfully managing protocol, security, and production for such a large-scale industrial event while concurrently handling major cultural festivals highlighted TAG’s world-class operational capability.
Championing Ugandan Music, Comedy, and Culture
Beyond corporate and diplomatic events, 2025 was defined by TAG’s commitment to elevating Ugandan arts and culture through international-standard platforms.
One of the year’s standout moments was the Afrigo Band Golden Jubilee Concert held on August 16, 2025. In partnership with Stanbic Bank through FlexiPay, TAG ensured accessibility by offering tickets starting at UGX 60,000—allowing fans from all walks of life to celebrate one of Uganda’s most iconic music groups. The concert set a new benchmark for corporate-backed cultural events.

Comedy also took center stage with Anne Kansiime’s Comedy Grill on May 9, 2025, at Kampala Sheraton Gardens. The high-production event provided a safe and premium environment for comedy lovers, with early bird tickets priced at UGX 80,000, redefining live comedy experiences in Uganda.

In March, TAG expanded its cultural footprint with the inaugural Uganda Dance Nights, organised in collaboration with ValRich Arts. Hosted at Kampala Serena Hotel, the event featured international dance star and two-time Strictly Come Dancing champion Oti Mabuse, blending Latin dance with Ugandan cultural expression in a truly unforgettable experience.

Talent Africa’s impact was even more pronounced at the 10th edition of the Nyege Nyege Festival in November. Organised by the company, the festival has long been a launchpad for experimental and alternative Ugandan talent.
This year’s edition, hosted at Adrift Uganda in Kayunga, showcased a rich blend of genres, with local artists and DJs commanding major stages.
Standout moments included Fik Fameica’s performances and DJ Suuna Ben’s legendary dawn set, reinforcing how the festival continues to elevate homegrown talent to global audiences while celebrating unapologetic Ugandan identity.

The company’s dedication to emerging creatives also extends beyond main festival stages. The Nyege Nyege Pre-Party on October 31, themed “Rave to the Grave,” highlighted underground DJs and performance groups such as Authentic Voices Africa.
Investing in Tomorrow’s Talent
Talent Africa Group’s long-term vision continued to focus on nurturing the next generation of Ugandan stars. This was exemplified by the sold-out debut concert of rising music sensation Joshua Baraka, titled “Into The B’Raka Land,” held on November 29, 2025.

The successful concert marked a major milestone in the artist’s career and reaffirmed TAG’s role in talent development.
Looking Ahead: Expansion Plans for 2026
Riding on the momentum of its record-breaking year, Talent Africa Group has announced a major expansion of its event calendar for 2026. The company plans to introduce new high-profile event properties while securing bigger international headline acts, building on its proven track record of safety, logistics, and production excellence.
“2025 was about setting the benchmark—proving that Ugandan event production can stand side by side with the best in the world,” said Aly Alibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group. “We delivered excellence across diplomatic, corporate, and cultural spaces. For 2026, we are rolling out an aggressive schedule with more major events, larger international tours, and even stronger platforms for local talent.”

As TAG prepares for an even more ambitious year ahead, the company’s 2025 success stands as a clear signal that Uganda’s events industry has entered a new era—one defined by scale, professionalism, and global competitiveness.
