While away on vacation in Nairobi, renowned deejay and media personality Etania Mutoni has announced her departure from NRG Radio Uganda.

On Tuesday evening, through a series of posts across her social media channels, Etania expressed her gratitude to the station, which has been her home for the last three years.

Etania Joins NRG Radio Uganda

Etania joined NRG Radio Uganda in February 2023, enthusiastically kickstarting her radio career, presenting on the NRG Circle show.

Because of her vibe, she quickly became the face of the station, which had embarked on recruiting some of the elite members of the media and Kampala’s entertainment circle

2024 “Dismissal” Hoax

In July 2024, rumors circulated about how the jolly presenter had been fired over indiscipline after a letter of dismissal circulated online.

At the time, however, NRG rubbished the reports, maintaining that Etania was still their employee and she carried on with her duties.

2026 – Adios

She states that the three years at NRG have left unforgettable moments for her, and it will always be family.

Thank you, NRG RADIO. As I scrolled through my phone to find pictures for these slides, I saw how much fun I have had, how many memories I have made at the station. It breaks my heart to leave because NG RADIO was my baby.
