King Zale, whose real name is Christopher Godi, a Ugandan artist, was reportedly arrested on Tuesday night in Kamwokya by armed men.
Reports that started circulating at night revealed that the singer, who has often been seen as part of NUP president Bobi Wine’s security detail, was in his car when he was surrounded by armed men and ordered out of his car and into a waiting drone.

According to NUP Secretary General Lewis Rubongoya, King Zale was put at gunpoint and bundled into the drone and taken to an unknown destination.
“We’ve just been informed of the violent abduction of our brother, King Zale, from Kamwokya. Onlookers say, armed men moving in a drone surrounded his vehicle, put him on gunpoint, and ordered him to move out of his car before driving off with him to an unknown destination. The lawlessness continues,” Rubongoya’s tweet reads.
Dax Vibez, a close friend of King Zale’s, also confirmed the news early on Wednesday morning via a tweet in which he stated:
King Zale Music was kidnapped yesterday night in Kamwokya by armed men in a drone. His current location is now unknown.
As the Bebbo singer’s fans continue to question his whereabouts, the Uganda Police is yet to release a statement on the matter.
