Singer Amos Lovins has addressed criticism from his ex-lover Black Shuga after she publicly questioned his maturity and decisiveness.
In a clip circulating online, Black Shuga is heard taking direct shots at the singer, arguing that he fails to live up to what it means to be a man.

She remarked that one cannot claim manhood while behaving indecisively or immaturely.
When you want to be a man, be a man—don’t act like a boy while trying to claim you’re a man.
Amos Lovins responded with a more reflective tone, emphasizing the value of support from women.
He noted that when a woman chooses to stand by someone, it reflects strength and should never be taken for granted.
When a woman extends any kind of support to you, never minimise that person. It shows she’s powerful, she chose to give you her time despite having many other things to do.
The “Ontwala” singer also made it clear that he holds no resentment toward Black Shuga. Instead, he described her as someone who has been good to him and remains in his good books.
According to Amos, he harbors no negative energy despite their differences, acknowledging that life comes with ups and downs. He added that criticism, even when harsh, can be a source of motivation.
“She has been good to me. I don’t have any bad energy toward her. Life has its ups and downs. When someone challenges me, I take it as motivation to work harder and improve,” he added.
