A Ugandan man with dual citizenship, identified as Frank Musoke, is at the center of a major federal fraud investigation in the United States after prosecutors alleged he siphoned more than $2 million from entertainer Nick Cannon over several years.
According to reporting by TMZ, Musoke, who previously worked as an account manager at a high-end Beverly Hills management and tax firm, is accused of abusing his position to secretly access and drain funds from celebrity clients.

Federal prosecutors have filed an eight-count indictment against Musoke, accusing him of orchestrating a sustained financial scheme between December 2019 and June 2023. While the indictment does not name Cannon directly, law enforcement sources confirm he is the alleged victim and had been a long-term client of the firm for nearly two decades.
Authorities claim Musoke had access to Cannon’s financial tools, including debit cards and PIN codes, which he allegedly used to carry out unauthorized withdrawals and purchases.
Investigators say Musoke’s alleged activities included:
- About $1.7 million withdrawn from ATMs
- Over $165,000 spent on Amazon purchases
- Nearly $192,000 used for personal travel
- More than $160,000 in miscellaneous personal expenses
In total, prosecutors allege the embezzled amount exceeds $2 million, all allegedly taken without Cannon’s knowledge or approval.
Beyond wire fraud, Musoke is also facing additional charges. Prosecutors claim he concealed more than $1.7 million in allegedly stolen income on federal tax returns filed between 2021 and 2023, resulting in three separate tax evasion counts.
The unnamed Beverly Hills firm, referred to in court documents as “Company A,” is said to have terminated Musoke in July 2023 after discovering discrepancies and missing funds linked to client accounts.
Authorities believe Musoke may have fled the United States and is currently in Uganda, where he reportedly holds dual citizenship. His whereabouts remain uncertain as investigators continue pursuing the case.
