Maro has opened up about the songs he holds closest to his heart from the many hits he has released throughout his music career.
While appearing in an interview on Spark TV, host Evelyn Mic asked the singer whether he has a favorite song from his catalog after years of making music.

In response, Maro revealed that one of the songs he treasures most is “Mpa Nkuwe,” a collaboration with Beenie Gunter.
I have many but some people don’t know them. There’s a song I did with Beenie Gunter, it was one of my best songs. It’s called ‘Mpa Nkuwe.’ I liked the way I sang.
Maro noted that although the track may not be among his biggest mainstream hits, he personally rates it highly because of the performance and delivery he put into it.
However, when it comes to the song that fans loved the most, Maro pointed to his hit track “Biweewo,” which he released around 10 years ago.
It was the first Lusoga song that I made and it was played almost everywhere and that’s when people got to know me before I did ‘Ono Kyokoba.’
