Sir. Mesach Semakula, a legendary Ugandan singer, has finally released the visuals for his new song, dubbed “Africa (Waka Waka)”.
The song calls upon Africans to appreciate their strengths and unite against conflicts amongst themselves because the continent is richly blessed.

He highlights how, despite cultural and traditional diversity, Africans are united in solidarity on many occasions.
This song celebrates the unity, strength, and pride of Africa. From north to south, east to west, we are one people with one future. Together, all African nations are stronger, united by our culture, history, and shared dreams. One Africa. One People. One Strength.
The visuals directed by Jah Live Films express what is embedded in the lyrics with a backdrop of African flags, traditional attire, and African choreography.
