Kampala, April 30th, 2025 – Uganda Waragi together with Talent Africa Group and partners have announced a partnership in support of “The Comedy grill of Anne Kansiime” set to take place on the 9th of May at the Sheraton gardens Kampala.
True to the bold and refreshing essence of Uganda Waragi Lemon & Ginger, this show is the first-of-its kind and will feature a humorous roast of Africa’s Queen of Comedy, Kansiime with the aim of to celebrating and elevating Kampala’s comedy scene.
This groundbreaking comedy grill promises to deliver a night of laughter and the most authentic Ugandan spirit of sharp wit and humour.

Together, they will grill and toast to Kansiime in a showdown like never before. The announcement was also made with a twist in the form of a mini roast between Kansiime; the event MC, Daniel Omara and other fellow comedians present as a sneak peek of what to expect at the main event.
